The board of the International Centre for Pensions Management (ICPM) has appointed Rob Bauer as executive director, effective immediately.
He replaces Keith Ambachtsheer who has been named director emeritus of ICPM.
“Rob has been involved with ICPM since inception and brings a wealth of knowledge about ICPM and the pension community at large to his role” says Barbara Zvan, the chair of ICPM’s board.
Bauer is internationally recognized for his research on pension funds, mutual funds, responsible investments and corporate governance, and he advises pension funds and institutional asset managers on pension and investments related subjects.
He is also professor of finance at Maastricht University, School of Business and Economics in the Netherlands.
