Aston Hill Asset Management Inc. has launched the Aston Hill High Income Fund, which will be managed by Aston Hill’s CIO, Ben Cheng.
With the use of liquid alternative strategies – including the use of options and shorting, within regulatory limitations – Cheng aims to provide downside protection and generate additional income.
The fund has no restrictions on asset class or geography, allowing Cheng to pursue yield opportunities through a variety of securities including, but not limited to, equities, preferred shares, high yield bonds, REITs, investment grade fixed income, floating rate debt, convertible securities and asset-backed or mortgage-backed securities.
