Aon has launched a total rewards system aimed at small- and medium-sized Canadian companies.
The integrated online portal, Aon Choice, is underwritten by Desjardins Insurance. It allows employees and their families to choose health and retirement plans from multiple options offered by their employer and provides access to deals on home, auto, pet, travel and legal expense insurance.
Employees will also receive online reward statements through the system where they’ll be able to see their compensation and contributions made to their employer’s benefits and retirement savings plans as well as other rewards or incentives.
“We’ve been listening closely to Canadian employers of all sizes to better understand their challenges and opportunities and found limited benefit options mean many smaller companies struggle to attract and retain engaged employees,” said Christine Lithgow, president and chief executive officer at Aon Risk Solutions Canada.
