ATRF CEO plans to retire

Emilian Groch, CEO of the Alberta Teachers’ Retirement Fund (ATRF) board, plans to retire at the end of the year.

“I feel extremely privileged to have had the opportunity to lead ATRF and work with such dedicated and professional ATRF employees,” he says. “I am extremely proud of what we have accomplished over the past 20 years in positioning ATRF as a leading-edge organization in all of our operational areas.”

Groch has offered to assist with the transition to the new CEO and will be supporting the board as it moves forward in transitioning ATRF’s leadership.

The board has hired the search firm Korn/Ferry International and will be commencing an external candidate search in the very near future.
