The British Columbia Investment Management Corp. has appointed Peter Milburn as a director and chair of the board of directors, effective Dec. 31, 2016.
Recently retired as the province’s deputy minister of finance, a position he held since 2011, Milburn has held a variety of senior positions during his career with the provincial government, including deputy minister for transportation and infrastructure. He also brings experience in corporate governance.
Milburn replaces Rick Mahler, whose appointment as board chair ended December 31, 2016. Mahler was a member of bcIMC’s board since 2010 and served as chair since 2011.
