The British Columbia Investment Management Corp. (bcIMC) board of directors has appointed an executive search firm to help the organization find a replacement for the retiring CEO and chief investment officer, Doug Pearce.
After meeting with candidate firms, the board selected Korn/Ferry International, which has expertise in global financial services.
bcIMC’s board is responsible for selecting and appointing Pearce’s successor. As this is the board’s most important function, the entire board is serving as the search committee.
Pearce announced last month that he would retire in March 2014.
