Manulife Financial has appointed Christine Robinson as head of human resources.
She succeeds Lisa Butler, who takes on the role of the organization’s global chief talent and diversity officer.
Robinson will lead the Canadian human resources team and will join the global human resources leadership, global leadership and Canadian executive management teams.
She joins Manulife from Sun Life Financial, where she was responsible for talent development and creating the organization’s learning and leadership strategy. In addition, she has worked at BlackBerry in talent management and learning and spent eight years in human resources consulting with Right Management and private practice.
