The 2015/2016 NHL season gets underway on Wednesday and with that in mind, here are some of favourite articles on hockey.

Canadians are crazy about hockey, especially when it comes to helping their kids play. A 2013 survey found Canadians put children’s hockey ahead of saving for retirement.

However, those parents may want to put their money to better use. Our friends at Advisor.ca found only 0.05% of kids in Ontario who play hockey in a given year will eventually play one season in the NHL.

But what happens if they make it? The Calgary Flames’ Matt Stajan spoke to Advisor.ca about money management to Advisor.ca.
