State Street Global Advisors (SSGA) has appointed Greg Ehret as president. He will continue to report to Ron O’Hanley, CEO of SSGA.
Ehret, a 20-year veteran of SSGA, has held a number of executive positions in operations, sales and product development, including co-head of the firm’s exchange-traded fund (ETF) business.
He led SSGA’s business in Europe, the Middle East and Africa from July 2008 to September 2012 including the purchase of the Bank of Ireland Asset Management and spearheading State Street’s European ETF franchise.
