Fraser Group launches survey on pension fund expenses

Fraser Group has created a pension fund expenses survey to provide plan sponsors with various ways to benchmark their expenses.

Participants will receive a free summary of the data and can order a customized analysis comparing their own plans against statistical norms.

“The statistical model we have developed provides custom expense benchmarks for each plan that reflect asset size and the number of plan members,” says Ken Fraser, president of the Toronto-based research firm. “Separate benchmarks are available for investment and administrative expenses.”

The survey is open to all DB and DC plan sponsors in Canada.

The data submission deadline is August 31. The survey report will be released in October.
