The Canada Post Corp. pension plan is appointing Thavanesan Naidoo as director of pension fund investments and external equities.
Naidoo, who has more than 30 years of experience in pension and investment management, joins the Canada Post plan from the CIBC pension plan where he was director of pension investment strategy. In the new role, he’ll be working alongside the external equities team managing all aspects of the external equities portfolio.
Prior to joining the CIBC pension plan, Naidoo spent 10 years as a director within the Hydro One pension plan. Earlier in his career, he was a principal and investment consultant at Mercer and senior portfolio manager of external funds at the Alberta Investment Management Corp.
