Industrial Alliance has introduced a new specialized website about the voluntary retirement savings plan (VRSP).
The IA VRSP website is for Quebec-based employers, self-employed workers and individual savers and will simplify the process for them by allowing them to sign up for the VRSP online starting July 1, 2014, the date the plan comes into effect.
Until then, the website will give clients interested in this new plan all the information they need on the VRSP, how it works, how to implement it and much more.
The details of Industrial Alliance’s VRSP solution will also be unveiled on this website in the next few months.
“We know that employers, especially small- and medium-size businesses, don’t have much time to spend on managing a retirement plan for their employees,” says Industrial Alliance’s Renée Laflamme, vice-president, group savings and retirement. “Our goal with IA VRSP is to make things easier for them by putting all the important VRSP information at their fingertips and, starting on July 1, 2014, letting them sign up for a VRSP in just a few minutes.”
