Rogers to leave FICOM for OSFI

Carolyn Rogers, the chief executive officer of the Financial Institutions Commission of British Columbia, will be leaving FICOM at the end of July to join the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions as assistant superintendent, regulation sector.

Rogers joined FICOM in June of 2010 as superintendent of pensions, real estate and financial institutions, the registrar of mortgage brokers and the chief executive officer of FICOM.

“It has been my great pleasure to serve the Government of British Columbia and its citizens for the past six years,” she said in a press release. “While it was a difficult decision to leave, I am also excited to be taking on a new challenge and to be joining an organization as well-regarded as OSFI.”

Rogers will complete her duties at FICOM on July 29 and will begin her new post on Aug. 15, 2016.
