Accenture hosts mental health webinar for staff

Accenture Canada hosted an hour-long webinar to coincide with Bell Let’s Talk Day on Wednesday, aiming to educate employees and spread important messages about mental health.

The event was communicated to employees via email and the professional services company’s online employee portal.

“Many offices around the country had Bell Let’s Talk Day displays set up with opportunities for employees to learn and interact,” said Nicholas Greschner, HR director, Canada at Accenture.

In addition, members of the company’s Disabilities Employee Resource Group posted and shared information about Bell Let’s Talk Day on its internal newsfeed.

“We leveraged material provided by Bell, and Accenture-specific information, and promoted spreading the word about mental illness via the tools that are part of Bell Let’s Talk Day campaign,” said Greschner.

Accenture recently signed the ILO Global Business & Disability Network Charter with 10 other employers.
