Buck Consultants Canada has announced that Serafina Morgia is joining the company as its new Canadian health and productivity practice leader.
Morgia has experience in the public and private sectors, including unionized and non-unionized workforces.
Morgia started her career at Canada Life, where she held various roles throughout the group insurance division. She then moved into consulting at Aon Hewitt and Mercer Canada, providing advice on group benefits strategy and disability management to medium-sized and large clients.
She also served as the director of benefits for George Weston Ltd., managing the benefits portfolio for its two major operating companies: Loblaws and Weston Bakeries. Most recently, she worked for Industrial Alliance Insurance and Financial Services as a senior account executive in its group insurance division.
Buck has also announced that Greg Fayarchuk is returning to the company as Canadian market leader for consulting and outsourcing.
From 2005 to 2007, Fayarchuk served as Buck’s senior vice-president of global sales and marketing, where he was responsible for executing a sales approach toward existing and target clients in Canada. Additionally, he began the formation of the sales and marketing organization globally. Most recently, Fayarchuk was partner and sales leader for Mercer Canada.
