Industrial Alliance Insurance and Financial Services Inc. has launched a new claims transmission option for select healthcare providers.
With the TELUS Health’s eClaims web portal, group insurance members can file claims electronically, directly from their participating healthcare provider’s office. This allows them to pay only the portion of a claim not covered by their insurance, rather than paying the entire amount upfront and submitting paperwork for a refund.
The new option is available for physiotherapists, chiropractors and vision care specialists, as well as acupuncturists, massage therapists and naturopathic doctors regulated by the appropriate provincial or federal organizations.
