With the 2026 Winter Olympic Games in full swing, Fidelity Canada is encouraging a sense of community and national pride among employees by celebrating Team Canada at its workplaces.

On Monday, the organization invited staff to wear Canadian colours and Team Canada gear throughout the week. It’s also streaming Olympic competitions in cafeterias so employees can tune in during breaks and over lunch.

Chris Pepper, vice-president of corporate affairs, says the initiative builds on past efforts to bring employees together around shared moments, noting the employer held similar watch parties last fall during the Toronto Blue Jays’ World Series run.

“Fidelity is so proud to cheer on our incredible athletes competing in Italy. We know many of our employees are excited about the Olympics, so we want to encourage that Team Canada spirit in all our offices across Canada.”

The organization plans to capture and share photos from the initiative internally in the coming days to highlight employee participation and workplace enthusiasm.
