Hub International Ltd. has acquired Vancouver-based employee benefits and pension consulting firm ES3 Insurance Services Ltd.
The company operates as ES3 Advisory and was founded by president Darrell Ert in 1999. “ES3 is perfectly set up for the next chapter with a partner that shares our values and has the scale to make a real difference in the North American space,” said Ert, in a news release.
This is the latest in a number of acquisitions by Hub International in recent months, including Windsor, Ont.-based retirement and benefits firm the Benefits Company Inc.; Burnaby, B.C.-based Pointbreak Consulting Group Ltd.; and Kitchener, Ont.-based GMS Insurance Inc.
