HumanaCare re-launches virtual health-care, therapy tool

HumanaCare has completed the integration and re-launch of its virtual health platform TranQool.

The platform, which the employee health services company acquired in May 2018, will be available to more than 1.3 million Canadians through partnerships with HumanaCare, and allows individuals to access virtual counselling and therapy services.

“We are excited to begin delivering our suite of health services virtually,” said Jamie Marcellus, president of HumanaCare, in a press release. “This technology platform improves access, outcomes and the customer experience. A significant number of Canadians can now benefit from the easy-to-use interface to receive the support they need to solve real life concerns.”

HumanaCare is also developing virtual care services related to disability management, second opinions, caregiver support, health-care navigation and chronic disease management, added Marcellus.
