Pacific Blue Cross has appointed Anar Dossa as director of pharmacy services and Jason Welch as director of group underwriting.
Dossa brings more than 25 years of experience into the new role, including working as a pharmacist and as a diabetes educator. Prior to joining Pacific Blue Cross, she worked with the pharmacy operations team at Vancouver General Hospital, University of British Columbia Hospital and G.F. Strong Rehabilitation Centre.

“I’m thrilled to be working on new and exciting projects focused on drug plan sustainability and innovation to improve the health and well-being of British Columbians,” said Dossa, in a news release.
Welch spent more than seven years at Medavie Blue Cross before joining Pacific Blue Cross. He has nearly 20 years of financial expertise in the logistics and insurance industries. “I look forward to bringing my experience to support Pacific Blue Cross in meeting the health needs of more than 1.5 million of my fellow British Columbians,” he said.
