The Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario is appointing Wing-Yee Wong as its chief financial officer, effective Feb. 2, 2026.
Wong brings more than 20 years of financial leadership experience in complex public sector environments, according to a press release. Most recently, she served as finance, procurement and logistics director at Elections Ontario, where she played a key role in implementing new finance and payroll systems and successfully supported the 2025 provincial election.

Prior to that, Wong held leadership roles at Supply Ontario and various provincial ministries, where she oversaw multi-billion-dollar budgets, executed major reorganizations and drove transformative initiatives. She has extensive experience managing unionized teams and leading change management efforts across finance functions.
