CIBC Global Asset Management has appointed Dario Morrone as Vice President, Institutional Business Development. Reporting to Carlo DiLalla, Managing Director and Head of CIBC Institutional Asset Management, Dario will lead sales and business development across Quebec and Eastern Canada. He will focus on fostering relationships with institutional investors, consultants, and stakeholders, including pension plans, foundations, insurers, and family offices.
Dario brings extensive experience from his previous role as Principal and Senior Investment Consultant at Mercer, where he advised institutional investors on asset allocation, de-risking, and portfolio structure. A McGill University graduate with a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Statistics, Dario also holds CFA, CAIA, FSA, and FCIA designations. His expertise will enhance CIBC’s presence in the institutional market and investment consultant channels.
