Caisse acquires units of 3D broadcasting company

The Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec has subscribed for 6,000,000 units of Sensio Technologies Inc., a Quebec company that deals with 3D broadcasting for cinema and television.

Over the years, Sensio has developed different patented technologies to transport and decode 3D content.

Each Sensio unit comes at a price of $0.10, which consists of one common share and one common share purchase warrant. Each warrant gives the right to acquire one additional common share at an exercise price of $0.18 per common share at any time until Oct. 4, 2015.

Before this transaction, the Caisse held 5,724,393 common shares of the corporation’s share capital.

The Caisse says it may increase or decrease its interest in Sensio depending on market conditions or other relevant factors.
