Tackling mental health worldwide

World Mental Health Day is observed on Oct. 10 every year.

The overall objective of the day is to raise awareness of mental health issues around the world and mobilize efforts in support of mental health, according the the World Health Organization.

World Mental Health Day provides an opportunity for all stakeholders working on mental health issues to talk about their work and what more needs to be done to make mental healthcare a reality for people worldwide.
