This year, the awards feature two new categories: HR/Benefits Professional of the Year, which recognizes a leading individual from a plan sponsor who has led a successful career in the benefits or human resources space; and Industry Leadership, which recognizes an individual from the provider space who is demonstrably active and engaged in shaping the future direction of the benefits industry.

Last year’s award winners were Lululemon Athletica Inc., BNP Paribas in Canada, Fidelity Canada, CAA Club Group, Flight Centre Travel Group and Telus Communications Inc.
As in previous years, the 2024 awards will continue to honour the achievements of exceptional Canadian benefits and pension plan sponsors. The awards will be presented during the 2024 Healthy Outcomes Conference — an event designed for employers and taking place in Toronto on Oct. 18. Entrants will be invited to register, alongside previous Workplace Benefits Awards entrants, finalists and winners, to exchange ideas, best practices and tools for achieving improved employee health outcomes and enhanced organizational performance.

Nominations will be accepted until Friday, June 28, 2024. Visit the Workplace Benefits Awards site to submit a nomination or complete an entry for your organization. Consultants, advisors and record-keepers are also encouraged to submit entries for their plan sponsor clients.
