Blevins Insurance Group and Jones DesLauriers & Reynolds Financial Services Group Inc. have made a deal to merge, which will result in the two firms forming one prominent Tier 2 financial services organization.
The new consolidated brokerage will take the name Jones DesLauriers Blevins Insurance Group Inc. and will offer employee benefits, third-party administration, life insurance and pension and financial planning.
The firm will operate from two offices: one in Toronto and one in Barrie, Ont.
David Blevins will continue to be president and a major shareholder. “We are pleased to be merging with an established firm that shares our corporate values, customer service standards and professional expertise,” says Blevins. “This is a decisive move that will accelerate our growth and perpetuation strategy. It will enable us to provide even greater value to our clients and insurance partners.”
