Ceridian has announced it is expanding its investment in Dayforce, a workforce management software developer. Together, the firms will offer employers a new tool that provides payroll, HR, benefits and workforce management services on a single platform.
The newly expanded software builds upon Ceridian’s InView workforce management tool that was brought to market earlier this year.
“Now we’re going to use that platform and provide end-to-end HR, payroll and workforce management for our customers—all in the same technology,” says Dave MacKay, president of Ceridian Canada. “Nobody in the market today has what we call ‘punch-to-pay’ in real-time. This will be the first product in the market that does punch-to-pay in real-time.”
InView HR and Self-Service will begin to be released in the fourth quarter of 2011, with the new InView Payroll functionality to follow in the first quarter of 2012.
