CPPIB announces new senior appointment

The Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB) has appointed Mary Sullivan as senior managing director and chief talent officer.

Sullivan has worked in human resources for 25 years with Canadian and global corporations. In her new role, she will lead the CPPIB’s global human resources team. She will also oversee talent acquisition, training and development, talent management and compensation and benefits.

Pierre Lavallée, who has been performing these duties up to now, will focus on leading the CPPIB’s Investment Partnerships department going forward.
