Sun Life Canada has appointed Cheryl Mallett as senior vice-president of client services, effective Feb. 17, 2020.
In the newly created role, Mallett will be responsible for leading operations teams that provide direct support to the insurer’s group and retail businesses.
She joins Sun Life with more than 25 years of experience in operations and client service roles. Most recently, she was chief operations officer for Canada at Manulife Financial Corp. She also held similar roles at John Hancock Life Insurance Co., which merged with Manulife in 2004.
