Medavie Blue Cross has appointed Hélène Lavictoire as its Ontario government executive lead.
Lavictoire is joining Medavie from Telus Health, where she was a product director and general manager. She also managed a group of public sector programs, including the Ontario drug benefit program.

Previously, Lavictoire had progressively senior leadership roles in the health benefits management and health-care information technology sectors, including roles at Green Shield Canada and Express Scripts Canada.
“Hélène brings a wealth of health-care industry knowledge and leadership experience,” said Martin Haynes, Medavie’s chief corporate affairs officer, in a press release. “Her extensive background in both private and public sector health benefit management will play a lead role in Medavie’s next growth phase.”
