T. Rowe Price Group Inc. has appointed Lauren Bloom as head of defined contribution sales and intermediaries in Canada.
Based out of Toronto, Bloom will lead sales and services for the company’s Canadian defined contribution and intermediary channels, promoting its investment offerings. Prior to this position, Bloom held a number of roles at CI Investments Inc., including vice-president of strategic alliances, director of strategic accounts and senior manager of strategic accounts.
“T. Rowe Price’s professionals in Canada work with our clients in a strategic, solutions-oriented manner,” said Bruce Winch, head of sales for Canada at T. Rowe Price Group, in a news release. “As a result, our defined contribution and intermediary business here has made significant strides in recent years.
“Lauren is a great addition to our outstanding team and she will help us build on our strong foundation. We are excited to welcome her to T. Rowe Price.”
