Mercer Canada appoints new total health management leader

Mercer Canada has appointed Alex Boucher as total health management leader for Canada.

Based in the organization’s Halifax officer, Boucher joins Mercer with nearly 20 years of experience in employee health, wellness, disability and productivity management. During that time, his roles have included: health management account manager at Morneau Shepell Ltd., co-owner and business development director and Anytime Fitness Halifax, and director of health and disability management at Medavie Blue Cross.

“An experienced leader and former business owner, Alex understands the Canadian workplace and what it takes to help improve the working lives of individuals across the country,” said Brian Lindenberg, head of the health and benefits business at Mercer Canada.

“His deep knowledge in both disability and workplace wellness issues – from both the insurer and employer perspective – will certainly be an asset to our team as well as to our clients.”
