The Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan is appointing Lori Hall-Kimm as head of global private equity.
In the new role, which takes effect on Jan. 24, 2022, Hall-Kimm will lead the development of a strategic and operational plan for private capital investments.
She’ll join the HOOPP after five years at the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board, where she’s held the roles of senior principal of funds, secondaries and co-investments; senior principal of director private equity; and, most recently, managing director of direct private equity. Previously, she was director of private capital at the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan.
In a press release, Michael Wissell, chief investment officer at the HOOPP, said Hall-Kimm will be an important addition to the global private equity team. “We’re delighted that Lori has decided to join HOOPP and I look forward to working with her to build on HOOPP’s highly successful private equity portfolio.”
